The European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) is one of three Entrusted Entities delivering Destination Earth (DestinE). Building on nearly five decades of progress in numerical weather prediction, Earth system observations and high-performance computing, ECMWF is responsible for developing the first two high-priority digital twins, on Weather-Induced Extremes and Climate Change Adaptation, as well as the Digital Twin Engine.
