About the service
SEEDS (Supporting European Farmers’ Decisions in Perennial Agriculture through DestinE Solutions) is an innovative climate pilot service developed within the DestinE initiative with ECMWF support.
The primary goal of the service is to assist European farmers in adapting to the complex challenges posed by climate change, with a specific focus on important perennial crops such as apples and grapes.
To achieve this, SEEDS leverages the advanced capabilities of DestinE’s Climate Digital Twins (DTs), providing high-resolution and highly localised climate information, down to 50 meters by 50 meters.
Objectives
This video tutorial introduces SEEDS and provides an overview of the main functionalities, how to navigate the service features and how to access the phenological cycles, climate risks and adaptation measures information.
